How we join your squares

Naomi is the square joining expert, let me make this clear from the outset ! We get given so many lovely squares by all our kind crafters that we always have a bag of them that we are working on .

Over time and according to how we feel (are we in a crochet mood or a sewing one)we join those beauties in a number of ways .A crochet square is sometimes joined in the “join as you go” method ” or the “zig zag” method both these are really helpfully explained online by Bella Coco.

The knitted squares we usually sew together in matching yarns and we always add a border .The border can be Knitted using long circular needles or a simpler method is using good old double crochet . My problem is I don’t know when to stop adding another row!I think you will agree however that whatever method is used the finished blankets are fabulous.
