Last week, Lydia’s Auntie Sandra took a bundle of cross-body bags to Team Hope in Dublin for their Christmas shoebox appeal. Team Hope sends Christmas gifts to children living in poverty in many different countries.
We also delivered 25 Christmas gift sets to Lagan Valley Vineyard for distribution via VOYPIC and MACS to care experienced young people and a further 25 women’s gift sets for women who are moving on from Hydebank Prison and who are supported by Prison Fellowship.
The care experienced young people who are now living independently will receive a blanket and cushion set or a cosy hat and cowl set. Some, who are interested in makeup will also receive crochet cotton face scrubbies or trendy hairbands.
The women supported by Prison Fellowship will each receive a hat and cowl or scarf set.
